Some state-of-the-art gas stoves come with wood shavings for the smoker, but most require you to make or place the wood trays under the grill grate and close to the flame. For fire prevention and safety reasons, most gas ovens have poorly sealed lids, so smoke leaks out and requires more wood than wood. If not handled properly, the gas may explode. But overall, gas ovens are relatively safe. If you have a problem, you can turn off the switch directly. Water can become condensed and can be organized in extremely cold weather. Grease will push under the burner, and if you don't clean it, it may catch fire. This type of fire is very difficult to extinguish without the use of a grease fire extinguisher. Gas ovens are generally more expensive because of the more complex mechanisms and assembly. Having more accessories will break and require replacement. Another problem is that it's hard to tell if the gas will burn up. Many gas grills do not have particularly strong burners, or are so small that they can roast only one or two steaks at a time. It's perfect for a couple, but if you're having a graduation party, you're going to need more infrared burners. Charcoal and gas cost about the same, charcoal may have a promotion. But these costs are nothing compared to the food.
