1. Cooking on a wood stove is more troublesome. The stick won't burn for long, so you have to constantly monitor and feed the stove.
2. Wood-burning tent ovens usually take longer to heat and cook, depending on how dry the wood is.
3. Using a wood stove means you need to reliably find dry wood or solid fuel blocks. If you're camping in shoulder season, this could be a problem. I live in the western Pacific and finding dry wood is usually a big problem
4. The worst part of using wet wood is dealing with soot. It will stain the stove, your hands and almost everything.
5. As with any other fire source, you must be extra careful not to start a fire with a wood stove.
