The oven is easy to operate, easy to start, and can be heated up in 10 to 15 minutes. It's easy to keep a steady temperature, and it's easy to heat up or cool down. If you have 2 or more burners, you can easily set up a two-zone barbecue. Temperature control is key to good grilling and is easy to implement in gas grills. Gas ovens are also easier to clean and are generally allowed on balconies. How does the gas oven taste? To the surprise of many, about 90% of the world's best BBQ restaurants use gas to heat up their stoves, and then use wood to enhance flavor. At a similar rate, the world's most expensive steak restaurants use gas to roast their prime rib. BBQ restaurants choose gas grills and home grills for the same reason: convenience and control. Steakhouses use gas grilling because they need a dark surface, which can be heated from above and below by a special heater, so they can get very high heat, temperatures can reach between 426.7 and 648.8 degrees Celsius.
Unfortunately, the average patio gas oven doesn't generate that much heat. With a special burner, it may be possible to reach 482 degrees Celsius on a small portion of the food. But most gas ovens have temperatures between 232.2 and 260. If you buy a new one, I highly recommend having a special burner, especially if you grill steaks regularly. Although gas ovens are slightly better at maintaining a steady temperature, they are not perfect. The moderate temperature on the controller might be 148.8 C on a hot day, or 135 C on a 21 C day, or 107 C on a cool, windy or rainy day. But if you're familiar with your grill, it's easy to control the temperature. On a three-burner grill, you might use one hot area for the meat, one medium heat for the vegetables, and another low area for the finished product. The thermal diffuser works well on top of the burner to prevent fire. Gas ovens are easier to clean, and most have oil trays that are fairly easy to empty, so daily maintenance is scraping the grate. Another advantage of gas ovens is that they often have a wider range of accessories. Most have rotary grills and are highly recommended. Some have side burners, also recommended, to keep the sauce hot, or barbecue garnishes. You can also have night lights, side tables and spice racks, storage drawers, bottle openers-some gas grills even have Bluetooth. Grill grills can be added to most gas grills. This greatly improves the quality of the grill by magnifying the heat, preventing flames from rising, and allowing you to put wood on the grate under the food.
